Ghosts

Sitting here casting my thoughts back to 30th June 2023, the night I served Connections of Light Spiritualist church Darwen. from that service two other churches in the Lancashire, and one in Yorkshire, asked me to serve them, I suggested to those churches that I was booked to serve Connections of light 14th June 2024, if they had services that week I could serve them, as I live approximately 250 miles from them, my petrol expenses would be to much for them to book me, but as I would be staying in the area, I would charge for petrol from my hotel in Blackburn, and I was happy to extend my stay to serve them, the churches agreed. I was telling medium Kate Green about the other churches booking me, and she suggested I call it the northern light tour. Why not I thought as her suggestion rang a bell with me, and it would highlight the great service the spiritualist churches, in Lancashire and Yorkshire are doing for their communities.
PURPLE LIGHT SPIRITUALIST CHURCH 13/06/24
I had a quiet day spent at the premier inn I was staying at, a good breakfast and a walk to the local shop, gave me some much needed fresh air. As the day progressed, I was getting more and more nervous about, serving spirit for the first time at Purple Light Spiritualist Church. I sat down to meditate at 5pm, to raise heart and mind out of my material aches pains and woes, to connect with spirit. The good thing about this process is you can put your problems to one side, to raise your vibration high enough for connection with spirit, it was a wonderful meditation, with my spirit guides cleansing and clearing my chakras to prepare for service, at 6pm it was time to dress and prepare for the journey to church.
I arrived at the unitarian meeting hall 6.45pm, the church was starting to fill with people, there were sandwiches cakes tea and coffee being served. I thought this is lovely, the lovely Lorraine Mackenzie gave me a hug and a warm welcome offering me a hot drink, I presented Lorraine with a framed copy of my poem Rainbow as a gift for the church, as a thankyou for booking me, I took my coffee and sat down in the healing room, healing energy is always lovely to sit in and prepare for service. Karen James introduced herself to me as she was going to be chairing for me, I went to the platform at 7.25pm, the church was full of people, I said to Karen ” I was not expecting this lot”, Karen told me that this amount of people was normal, and that the church was growing in numbers every week. I said to Karen it is lovely to see a spiritualist church so well attended, the energy within the room was high, due to the friendly and good nature of the people within. I opened the service in prayer, spirit communicated with love and evidence of survival, to finish off the service I read my poem Rainbow to the congregation, my poem was well received and I closed the service in prayer. After service I ate the egg sandwiches that were put to one side for me, Lorraine gave me my expenses, I can honestly say it was a real pleasure to serve Purple Light Spiritualist Church. As there is a real sense of community service and belonging within the church. If your in the Chorley area, I highly recommend a visit to Purple Light Spiritualist Church.
CONNECTIONS OF LIGHT SPIITUALIST CHURCH – DARWEN 14/06/24
I have been looking forward to serving, Connections Of Light Spiritualist Church – Darwen. Since I served there last year 30/06/23, connections is a beautiful church filled with high spirit energy. I can honestly say it is a humble honour to work within that high energy, I had a lazy day at hotel relaxing, I sat for meditation once again to prepare for service, my spirit guides once again gave me much needed healing, as in recent weeks my emotional self has been all over the place. The healing given allowed me to balance myself, and focus on the demonstration of mediumship I was about to give, I have served connections online doing Zoom and Facebook Live demonstrations, of mediumship for their online spiritual group Eternal Spirit Online Team. When I arrived at connections it was really a meeting of old friends that warmed my heart, was lovely to see again Andy Ash and medium Kate Green who run connections, and the lovely Karen Burchill who chaired for me for Zooms, as I walked into the church I was filled with the high energy of spirit.
Inside the church I met the lovely medium Victoria Cowell ( Giggles), who has worked with me online doing coffee time chats and demonstrations of mediumship, also there was Denise and Tony Bull, fellow mediums who I have met on Zoom. Tony was going to be my chairperson for the demonstration of mediumship. I presented Kate Green with my framed poem Rainbow, as I really feel the words of the poem suit connections and the service to the community connections provide along with their charity fundraising, Kate placed Rainbow on the platform. The high energy of spirit did not let me down, spirit communicated through me with love guidance and evidence. After demonstration I had a lovely chat and a cuppa with all concerned, Kate gave me a booking for next year 06/08/25, which I can honestly say I am very much looking forward to returning to connections next year.

BANKFOOT SNU CHURCH DIVINE SERVICE. 15/06/24
Although I slept well I awoke mentally tired, for me four services in four days is mentally challenging, running the risk of becoming mentally drained, as with mediumship we have to concentrate and focus to higher levels, than in everyday life, with this in mind, today it is important that I recharge mentally. take a little walk to be in nature and just to relax my mind. Tonight’s service is a fundraiser for Bankfoot SNU Church, to raise funds for church repairs, so I needed to be on form for spirit. So spirit can bring through me their love guidance upliftment and evidence of survival, to all in attendance tonight.
I had been aware of a nun spirit guide around me all day, as I sat down to meditate she drew closer to me. I remembered seeing her as a child in infant school, she used to tell me off for being lazy at school, but here she was today soothing and recharging my mental state. Allowing me to concentrate at the required level for service, I arrived at Bankfoot SNU Church 6.20 pm to prepare for service at 7pm, I was given a lovely warm welcome by Steve who would be chairing for me. I was given a coffee myself and Steve went through the order of service, I met the lovely Lena Hunt, who booked me to serve that night, I presented her with my poem Rainbow, to thank her for booking me, Lena gave me a woolen worry bear as a keepsake, for me to remember my visit to Bankfoot, then it was time to sit quietly and open my channel to spirit, five minutes before service the lovely Tracy Young came to say hello, I had not seen her for years, I remember her from my early days of platform mediumship, at Hayes Spiritualist Church, and White Arrow Spiritualist Church Hillingdon. in the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s it was great to see her and it gave my energy a boost meeting her again.
For the philosophy part of the service. I read out my spirit inspired poem Far Away, which was well received, I gave philosophy about how grief teaches us to let go and move on, and that as spiritualists, we know that we are connected to all things, and that we know we are still connected to our loved ones far away, and that we can still connect with our loved ones through, thought emotion and prayer, even though our loved ones are no longer physically with us. I gave examples of the signs my dad gave me of his presence after his passing to spirit. For the demonstration of mediumship the energy of spirit gradually grew and deepened over the course of the demonstration, with the messages being given gradually grew more evidential and deeply spiritual, I feel very blessed to have been able to give those messages. After service it was time for coffee and cake, and to chat with people, I am pleased to say Lena booked me again for next year 09/08/25, I wish I had taken more photos, because Bankfoot SNU Church is a lovely old church, with dedicated spiritualists running it, and it was a real pleasure to serve there. I highly recommend to anyone a visit to Bankfoot SNU Church.

CLITHEROE SPIRITUALIST CHURCH RIBBLE VALLEY. DIVINE SERVICE 16/06/24
Today is fathers day, as I sit typing this blog, I am contemplating tonight’s inspired address, I am going to read out my poem Reflections, I was inspired to write about a moment of grief, for my dad who passed away in 2015. I am an advocate of spiritualist churches not only providing evidence of eternal life, but also giving comfort and support to grieving people who have loved ones passed away, and the knowledge that we can connect with our loved ones passed away, and that our loved ones are still with us and connect with us, to guide us through our earthly lives until we meet again. I very much feel that will help comfort and take a lot of the pain of grief away. I am mentally tired but Mother and Fathers Day services are very special, I am honoured to be doing this service tonight
I arrived at Clitheroe Spiritualist Church at 6.15pm. I was given a warm welcome by the lovely Gilly, who had also booked me for the divine service, I clicked with Gilly straight away a bubbly friendly lady, who told me I spoke foreign because of southern Slough accent, there is a lovely energy within the church very light and welcoming. Gilly asked me to pick the first hymn to be sung in the service, as it was fathers day I picked How Great Thou Art, my dads favourite hymn. There were pictures on the wall of the pioneers of spiritualism, Emma Hardinge Britten who chanelled the seven principles of spiritualism, Maurice Barbanell channel to spirit guide Silver Birch, Harry Edwards spiritual healer. Hannan Swaffer journalist and promoter of spiritualism through his reports on physical mediumship circles. I am in good company I thought to myself, I presented Gilly with my framed poem Rainbow, Gilly said that’s beautiful I will hang it on the wall, I was very honoured that Rainbow would be hung on the wall of such a beautiful church. I asked Gilly if I could take my shoes off for earth power during service, Gilly refused my request saying we are not that sort of church. I was a bit miffed by this as in forty one years of demonstrating mediumship, I had only worn my shoes twice, once because Hayes Spiritualist Church had been flooded and the floor was wet, and at Cavendish Spiritualist Church because the chairperson objected to me taking my shoes off for a divine service.
I went into the mediums room to meditate, still miffed about having to wear my shoes for service, my nun spirit guide stepped forward and said to me why are you making such a fuss about wearing your shoes. It will not effect the way we link with you, I felt a bit silly about feeling miffed about my shoes, I said to my nun guide let’s rock she smiled and stepped back. It was time for the service to begin, I joined Gilly on he platform and she introduced me to the congregation, asking me to open the service in prayer, the lovely thing at Clitheroe Spiritualist Church is the medium lights a candle before giving the opening prayer, as I lit the candle I said in thought to spirit, may the light and love of spirit fill this church. I gave the opening prayer, for the address spirit asked me to change the poem to Far Away, The Poem I had read out at Bankfoot SNU Church, I gave virtually the same address as I did at Bankfoot, I thought it will be fine as this is my first time here and they have not heard this address before. The spirit energy of love had been gradually building throughout the service, it was time to give the messages, spirit communicated with a lot of heart and love as well as evidence of survival. I closed the service in prayer. A gentleman thanked me for the service, I thanked him for coming to the service, as spirit and me cannot do what we do without people turning up to services, as spirit would have no one to communicate too. I had a coffee and drove back to my hotel, and enjoyed a glass or two of sauvignon blanc, feeling very blessed to be a channel for spirit for the four services.

THOUGHTS
I can honestly say the light of spirit shines brightly in the northern churches I visited, very friendly people, the most refreshing thing there were open and closed circles in the churches I visited, that are very well attended, it is great for me to see that people are wanting to learn about eternal life and how it works and to connect with spirit, through this we can help to make the world a better place. Also the strong sense of community and service within the churches is a true example of the practice of the teachings of spirit. I feel very blessed to be asked to serve the four churches, although the trip cost me personally £500.00 the churches covered my fuel expenses, it was worth it for the experience, and the lovely people I met, and for the deep connection with spirit I felt during the services, I feel that mediums should travel as far and as wide as they can, to share the love teachings and communication of spirit. In this day and age of the spiritual industry and celebrity mediumship, where fame and money are given more importance than service to spirit and others, my trip up north reminded me of my early years when I used to spend a week in south Wales serving churches, and all the other mediums I met on the church circuit who like me would travel all over the country, giving spirit teachings and evidence of survival. Spirit need we mediums to bring their teachings and evidence of survival after physical death, to the people in the churches and centres around the country. I drove home the next day mentally drained but truly blessed and humbled by what spirit had communicated through me, today 18/06/24 I returned to my work with meals on wheels, although mentally drained I hope I get the chance to tour more churches like I did up north, as it was such an amazing experience for me, plus fulfilling my purpose as a spirit messenger.
